West Bloomfield was founded in 1833 and was primarily a farming community known for apple orchards, but is now one of the most affluent, diverse and greatest places to live in the state of Michigan. West Bloomfield was rated as 38 on the list of top places to live in the United State by the CNN Money magazine and has one of the highest safety rankings.
The township is highly desired by nautical lovers because it is recognized as the prime lakefront property of Oakland County. The lakes in the community include Williams Cass Lake, Orchard Lake, and Pine Lake which offer private country club privileges.
West Bloomfield offers fine living for families with the highly ranked school system, and excellent parks and recreation services for the entire family.
